Big Community Fund

Thank you Big Community Fund. x

Treehouse Sessions has been awarded further funding and can now continue our community work for the arts and mental well-being.

What does this mean?

  • We no longer need to have the use of equipment bought in from outside sources, making it difficult to plan ahead.
  • More resources to plan our longer term strategies, such as; Our hire and help system, budget video production, small location filming and Community Radio Station.
  • Treehouse teaching and mentoring will be streamlined and consistent with the same hardware and software.
  • More community opportunities to bring an idea, and see if it is feasible to run with.
  • Unlimited Digital Media offshoots.

The opportunities we have, and the avenues we can now explore, are many steps forward. We thank you again Big Community Fund.

Refresher anyone?

If you’ve not visited for a while, and you’ve forgotten how magical this gathering is. Find yourself some music and love with a few links, like Katherine Priddy’s ‘Wolf’, or Adam baxter’s ‘fool’ with his debut ever performance. How about Joe Hicklin’s ‘Wayfairing Stranger/House of the Rising Sun’, or Elisha Esquivels’ ‘Human’.

Why don’t you spend the next few weeks listening, catching up, and getting ready for a season not to be forgotten on our youtube channel. We’ll keep you posted, and as the construction has started and goes through to the finishing bits, you’ll be left ready and raring to support some more breathtaking local singer songwriters.

If you feel that you want to be more than just a supporter of our amazing acts, maybe you’d like to get involved in our fantastic community project by volunteering. It’s easy, just go to our Volunteering page for more info. And if you’re an artist wanting to play, then bark at us using our contact page, this has all of the info you need to get started.

Come back soon xxx
